I love how this poem hints of a story but leaves us wondering and to our imagination
Author's Response: Thank you! :o) I always try to give my poetry a "story" feeling! |

WOW! That was good...I hope your gonna wright another one like that because this world would do good with your poetry!
Author's Response: Hello silver wolf! Wow, thank you very much for your kind words and especially for the enthusiasm you put in it! :o) I have been writing poetry since 15 years, so I guess I will certainly not stop now! Remus inspires me a lot of sweet things; I can almost promise you another poem one of these days... in the meantime, though, a substantial novel might be coming... :o) Take care and thank you again! |

I love this poem. Its so beautiful, you dont seem to be struggling to find rhythm or maing up silly words and images just to make a rhyme. There exists in it rhythm, even though it doesnt realy rhyme. I rarly find a poem as such that I enjoy. The other wonderful thing about it is the story---too often people write 3-line poetry that doesnt tell us anything. Lovely story.
Author's Response: Hello Vulpes_Velox! :o) Thank you very, very much for your nice review, aw! It is my first post on Wolfsbane (though a far more substantial one might come soon) and I was not sure if I would get any review at all for poetry. I have been writing poetry since 15 years and I usually try not to "bound" myself to rigid rules such as a pattern of rhymes (though I do try it from time to time, when I feel masochist!); I prefer to put my energy into finding evocative images and word combinations that are musical (I read my poems out loud many, many times when I write). I am glad you enjoyed it; thank you again, you made my day! :o) |
